We chanced upon Ian by accident, what a find! He was well-equipped and very knowledgeable. He was professional, personable and so helpful, without making you feel stupid. He was able to describe the difference between a black-tailed and a bar-tailed godwit, so that even a rank amateur like myself could tell the difference. By the time he’d finished, I was full of confidence and ready to be released on to the unsuspecting wildlife. Thanks Ian!

Our visit to Minsmere was made even more memorable by having you guide us round. The day was well planned and most enjoyable. We were inspired to return and armed with your useful knowledge we were able to find and identify some Dragonflies, our own Wasp spiders and a Ruff. I’ve also gotten the confidence to play with my DSLR settings. The days write up helped us ‘relive’ the day and we will use it as reference. Many thanks and see you next time we are back in Suffolk.
