WINTER IDEAS

Winter in East Anglia is time to see birds on the coast. We have Geese in the Norfolk Broads, Bitterns at Minsmere, Purple Sandpipers in Lowestoft and Wader spectaculars on our estuaries. We also have the Brecks straddling Suffolk and Norfolk which hold Hawfinch and Goshawk. Our new Thermal Imager allows us to seek out Jack Snipe during the day or Woodcock at night. We have local Badgers but activity drops alongside the temperature.

The shorter days allow Dawn and Dusk wildlife watching, with Owls being an opportunity.

If a Winters day in East Anglia appeals, get in touch and we can plan an itinerary around what you’d like to see.
